15 graham crackers

1 and 1/2 cups of sweetened condensed milk

1 7-oz package of chocolate bits

1/2 cup of chopped nuts

Crush graham crackers with rolling pin until very thin. Place in bowl. Add sweetened condensed milk (this is a special blend. Do not use evaporated milk for this. Add chocolate bits and the nuts. Mix well. Line an eight-inch pan with paper, grease and flour lightly. Spread batter in pan. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) for about 30 minutes. Remove pan from oven and place on rack to cool for five minutes. Cut into bars and remove from pan at once. Yields three to four dozen small cookies.
