Basic pie crust

MAKES 8 SERVINGS

1 1/4 cups flour 
2 tablespoons sugar     
1/4 teaspoon salt 
4 to 5 tablespoons cold margarine
3 to 5 tablespoons ice water

1.  Combine flour, sugar and salt in medium bowl. With pastry blender, cut in
margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle with water, 1
tablespoon at a time, mixing lightly after each addition until pastry just
holds together.

2.  Roll dough on lightly floured board into a circle 2 inches larger in
diameter than pie pan. Ease dough into 8-inch pie pan. Trim edges and flute.
Fill and bake according to your favorite pie recipe.
