'Got to be real' chocolate fondue

MAKES 6 SERVINGS

24 ounces semisweet chocolate chips

1¼ cups evaporated milk

¼ cup sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 tablespoon fruit flavored liqueur, Kirsch brandy or Cointreau

Dippers (fresh strawberries with stems; cubed pound cake, angel food cake or ladyfingers; banana chunks; orange or tangerine sections; pretzels; cookies, or large marshmallows)

Place chocolate chips, milk, sugar, vanilla and liqueur into a slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for 30 minutes. Stir well.

Cook 1 more hour on low. Serve in slow cooker pot or move to warm fondue pot. Use skewers to swipe your choice of dippers into the chocolate.
