Cranberry-orange sauce

MAKES 10-12 SERVINGS
1 cup water
3/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup honey
2 tablespoons grated orange zest
1 cinnamon stick
1 teaspoon peeled, grated fresh ginger
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 pound whole cranberries
In 4-quart saucepan, stir water, orange juice, sugar, honey and orange zest together. Bring mixture to boil, lower heat and simmer for 3 minutes. Add cinnamon, ginger and salt; simmer 3 minutes more, or until mixture is reduced to one cup.
Remove pan from heat; transfer mixture to serving bowl, let cool. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
