Fresh garden relish

MAKES 5 TO 6 CUPS
4 medium-size, ripe tomatoes, chopped
1 green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
1 yellow bell pepper, seeded and chopped
1/4 cup snipped fresh chives
1/2 cup minced red onions
1 jalapeno, seeded and minced
1-1/2 teaspoons sea salt
1-1/2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
Combine all ingredients. Cover and chill until ready to serve. Will keep, tightly covered, in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days.
