1/2 cup chopped onion

1/2 cup chopped sweet red pepper

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 8-ounce packages reduced-fat cream cheese (Neufchatel), soft- ened

1-1/2 cups finely shredded Parmesan or Romano cheese

1/4 cup milk

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup light dairy sour cream

2 cups chopped fresh spinach leaves

1/3 cup mild banana pepper rings, drained and chopped
