Updated: March 2, 2012 8:01AM

MAKES 10 SERVINGS

1 (16-ounce) can refried beans

¼ cup thick-and-chunky salsa

¼ cup sour cream, divided

1 tablespoon lime juice

½ teaspoon ground cumin

1 medium clove garlic, finely chopped

¼ teaspoon salt

½ cup finely chopped seeded tomato

2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

1 lime slice, for garnish

30 tortilla chips

In medium bowl, stir together beans, salsa, 2 tablespoons sour cream, lime juice, cumin, garlic and salt until well-blended.

Transfer mixture to shallow serving bowl. Sprinkle chopped tomatoes evenly over bean mixture. Top with dollops of remaining 2 tablespoons sour cream; sprinkle with cilantro. Garnish with lime slice. Serve with chips.

Note: Substitute fat-free fried beans, low-fat sour cream and baked tortilla chips for a healthier version.
