Should you start Jay Cutler this week after his great performance last week vs. the Lions. Check our gallery of starters and benchwarmers to see. | AP
START Mark Sanchez, QB, Jets vs. Dolphins. He has taken a lot of heat for the Jets’ slow start, but Sanchez has thrown a pair of touchdowns in 4 of 5 games. On MNF, a sieve-like Dolphins secondary and non-existent pass rush should let Sanchez succed.
START Felix Jones, RB, Cowboys at Patriots. While I don’t expect him to surpass 100 rushing yards, Jones is a big part of the Cowboys’ passing game as well. The combination effect makes him a quality start against a Patriots defense that is vulnerable.
BENCH Ryan Torain, RB, Redskins vs. Cowboys
START Earnest Graham, RB, Bucs vs. Saints. Though it’s not official yet, LeGarrette Blount is almost surely not playing this week due to a knee injury. Graham is the next man up, and he has a track record of performing well when given the opportunity.
START Victor Cruz, WR, Giants vs. Bills. Not convinced about Cruz yet? He’s caught 17 passes for 369 yards and 3 TDs over the past three weeks. Sure, some have been a bit fluky; but the second-year sensation has overtaken Mario Manningham.
START Eli Manning, QB, Giants vs. Eagles
START Tony Romo, QB, Cowboys vs. Pats
BENCH Cam Newton, QB, Panthers at Lions. As poorly as the Lions played last week, they held Jay Cutler to just 123 passing yards without a touchdown. Newton is coming off a disaster of his own, and things won’t get any easier in Detroit.
BENCH Peyton Hillis, RB, Browns
START Ahmad Bradshaw, RB, Giants vs. Bills
START A.J. Green, WR, Bengals vs. Colts
START Stevie Johnson, WR, Bills
START Pierre Garcon, WR, Colts vs. Bengals
START Cedric Benson, RB, Bengals vs. Colts
START Jordy Nelson, WR, Packers vs. Rams
START Santana Moss, WR, Redskins vs. Eagles
START Dez Bryant, WR, Cowboys vs. Pats
START Santonio Holmes, WR, Jets
START Darren Sproles, RB, Saints vs. Bucs
START Jonathan Starks, RB, Packers vs. Bucs
BENCH Matt Schaub, QB, Texans at Ravens. Schaub was limited to 138 yards and one TD against the stout Pittsburgh pass defense two weeks ago, when Andre Johnson was hurt. He should have another rough go against Ravens secondary.
BENCH Jahvid Best, RB, Lions vs. 49ers. It’s tough to sit someone with the hot hand; but in the two games prior to last weekend’s explosion, Best was just okay. Consider giving him a rest if you have other viable options.
BENCH Delone Carter, RB, Colts at Bengals. Though the rookie is expected to get his chance to shine in Joseph Addai’s (hamstring) absence, it won’t be smooth sailing. He’ll have to share carries with Donald Brown, and Cincinnati’s run defense is solid.
BENCH Brandon Marshall, WR, Dolphins at Jets. With six teams on bye, you may have little choice but to take your chances with Marshall. But you will probably be disappointed with his performance on Revis Island.
BENCH Mike Williams, WR, Buccaneers vs. Saints. Is he in the midst of a dreaded sophomore slump? Or is his struggling quarterback to blame? There’s no evidence to suggest the Freeman-Williams connection will get back in sync this weekend.
BENCH Alex Smith, QB, 49ers
BENCH Reggie Bush, RB Dolphins vs. Jets
BENCH Austin Collie, WR, Colts vs. Bengals
BENCH Denarius Moore, WR, Raiders vs. Browns
BENCH Jacoby Jones, WR, Texans vs. Ravens
BENCH Jason Campbell, QB, Raiders vs. Browns
BENCH Jonathan Stewart, RB, Panthers
BENCH Josh Freeman, QB, Bucs vs. Saints
BENCH LeGarrette Blount, RB, Bucs vs. Saints
START Mario Manningham, WR, Giants vs. Eagles
BENCH Rex Grossman, QB, Redskins vs. Eagles
BENCH Sam Bradford, QB, Rams vs. Seahawks
START Jay Cutler, QB, Bears vs. Chargers
