QUARTERBACK (B) Jay Cutler helped establish the offense on the first drive, but struggled as the Steelers applied heat in the second half. Came through with two big throws in the fourth quarter.

RUNNING BACKS (B+) Matt Forte (11 carries, 78 yards, 1 TD) scored on a 5-yard run and set up another TD with a nifty 55-yard run to the Steelers 5. Michael Bush added TD on a fourth-and-one play.

RECEIVERS (B+) Brandon Marshall (5-52) had four catches for 11 yards until a 41-yard catch in the fourth quarter. Earl Bennett made a quality catch for a 17-yard TD that all but clinched the game.

OFFENSIVE LINE (B) They were good when they had to be — in the first half when the Bears established control of the game. Matt Slauson, Kyle Long and Jordan Mills all had key blocks on TD runs.

DEFENSIVE LINE (B) Put a lot of heat on Ben Roethlisberger in the first half but the line was unable to put the hammer down until Julius Peppers clinched it with a 42-yard TD on a fumble return.

LINEBACKERS (A) D.J. Williams (two sacks) set the tone early with a sack and forced fumble in the first quarter. Lance Briggs had another big game, capped by a forced fumble for a clinching TD.

DEFENSIVE BACKS (C+) Major Wright returned an interception for a TD and forced a fumble the Bears recovered, but the Bears were subpar in coverage, with both Tim Jennings and Charles Tillman burned for TDs.

SPECIAL TEAMS (C) Adam Podlesh punted well, but that was about it for special teams. Anthony Walters had a roughing-the-punter penalty that led to a Steelers TD. Devin Hester had the long KO return of 21 yards and also a 5-yard return.

COACHING (A-) The Bears were sharp early in taking a 17-0 lead. Marc Trestman went for the TD on fourth-and-goal from the 1 and got it when Michael Bush scored. The Bears wilted in the second half but avoided a disastrous collapse.
