Despite herculean efforts, Johnny “Football” Manziel and Texas A&M couldn’t knock off Alabama; Jim Furyk shot a PGA record-tying 59, but it wasn’t good enough to win the BMW Championship; the Bears were one of eight teams to stay unbeaten after two weeks; and, as always, cheerleaders.
