English bulldogs "Woody", 2 1/2, and "Charlotte", 4, both recently rescued from a puppy mill in Iowa, were available from the Chicago English Bulldog Rescue organization. Homeless, unwanted and rescued dogs, cats, kittens and puppies are on display and available for adoption during the PAWS Chicago 16th annual “Angels with Tails” event along Michigan Avenue and Oak Street on Sunday, May 19, 2013. | Richard A. PAWS Chicago hosts the 16th annual “Angels with Tails” adoption event showcasing homeless cats, dogs, kittens and puppies in the windows of more than 40 shops along Michigan Avenue and Oak Street. PAWS Chicago is committed to bringing an end to the killing of homeless cats and dogs and transforming animal welfare. Through adoptions, spay/neuter, volunteering and shelter medicine, PAWS Chicago is dedicated to setting new standards in the way that homeless animals are treated.
