The Duluth East High School orchestra came all the way from Minnesota to hear the Chicago Symphony play on a field trip. In an effort to promote their love of music and the arts, they departed their bus and played two impromptu recitals at two locations on State street in Chicago, before they headed home. After coming by bus from Minnesota to see the Chicago Symphony perform, the Duluth East H.S. orchestra got off their bus with their instruments to perform an impromtu concert on State Street. They recived many rounds of applause as they entertained along the sidewalks of State Street.
