The annual Polish Constitution Day Parade -- the largest Polish parade outside of Poland -- marked ratification of the Polish Constitution in 1791 with hundreds of participants Saturday on Columbus Drive from Balbo to Monroe in Grant Park.
The parade, in its 122nd Chicago running, drew people dressed in the red and white colors of the Polish flag, along with brightly decorated floats that crept along the parade route. According to the parade website, the Polish Constitution was the first democratic constitution in Europe and second in the world only to the United States Constitution.
