Friends of the Chicago River celebrated the season opening of the McCormick Bridgehouse & Chicago River Museum on Friday, May 11 with a noon-time “Fish Liberation Ceremony” symbolizing the return of wildlife to the river.
With a modest sponsorship donation, the opportunity to release baby bluegills was held in partnership with the Chicago Park District Fish N’ Kids program.
