Congress met Wednesday in a lame-duck session, but despite winning reelection with 62 percent of the vote, U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. was not present. The South Shore congressman has been absent from congress since June 10. The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. on Tuesday announced he was no longer being housed at the facility.
