Business Treasurer's plan a winner for State of Illinois retirees Terry Savage: State Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias has proposed a reform to the state-funded pension system that will save more than $80 million a year in fees and costs that come directly out of the pockets of more than a quarter million state employees.
