Mitt tastes his own medicine

This is so rich it just has to be fattening. Mitt Romney is upset about campaign ads that take his statement “I like being able to fire people” out of context.

I remember another ad, from not so long ago, that also took a quote out of context, this one put out by the Romney campaign. The ad quoted Barack Obama, then campaigning for the presidency, as saying: “If we keep talking about the economy, we’re going to lose.” The Romney ad omitted any acknowledgment that Obama himself was quoting the campaign of his 2008 GOP opponent, John McCain.

Romney, to offer another quote, once said, “What’s sauce for the goose is now sauce for the gander.”

Mitt, I couldn’t agree more.
