Ihave just read the article by Mark Sherman on the justices and their conversations about broadcast TV censorship and also the column by Jacob Sullum. I have a simple opinion. I would like to see the censorship continue, because frankly, I don’t want to hear the “bad language.”
I am bombarded with it everywhere I go. Children use the language because it has become acceptable in their homes, in their neighborhoods and in the media. I would like to have someplace, besides my church, that doesn’t buy into the disrespect that our society has come to embrace. I am not a prude by any means, but I just am tired of hearing the foul language. America has become the home of the loud and profane and somehow we need to stop the runaway train.
