Thank you so very much, Chicago Public Schools, for erasing all the progress my son has made with his behavioral/emotional disorders while at Near North Special Education School, which will be closed next week. The anxiety of the closing has caused him to revert to several of his old destructive and disobedient ways.
Prior to the announcement of the school closing, he was doing the best he has ever done, with the support of the Near North staff. He was scoring high and on a Gold level almost daily for several weeks. Since then, he has dropped down to the second-to-last level on the behavior charts and constantly talks about how he won’t see his teacher, Mr. Cunningham, again.
I can only imagine how this is affecting the rest of the student body who have finally found people that understand them, only to have them torn apart. I hope you are proud of the decisions you have made at the expense of our children’s emotions.

Anyone with a telephone has received a robo call or 20 from credit card services offering to lower their interest rates. And anyone who has received a bunch of those scam calls probably would like to see that group of annoying criminals put out of business. Permanently.
Well, it’s probably safe to say that the NSA can track those calls and locate the culprit. The drones could take out the office and miscreants. Team up those two bad-news entities to eliminate those robocallers and I think the American people will forgive the NSA and the domestic drone program.

U.S. has no place in Syria
We just got out of Iraq, and soon we’ll be out of Afghanistan. Why now go into Syria? Too many parties are involved — rebels, people with Iranian connections, Hezbollah, and many other extremists from all over the Middle East. Don’t forget that Russia is sending warships. And don’t forget about the Israelis. Syria’s goal is to get rid of them. Too many cooks! Another 10 years of American involvement will result in more deaths and the waste of funds better used in the U.S. Shame on you, Mr. President!
