M y wife and I live in Downers Grove, where Friday’s snow storm hit us about as hard as it hit other parts of the Chicago area. But when I happened to look out my window on Saturday morning, I saw two young girls, around 10 years of age, cleaning off my car! With snow brushes in hand, they worked feverishly to get the job done. By the time I was able to get dressed and go out and reward the two snow angels, they were gone. They never rang the doorbell, never asked to be paid. They had graced me with a random act of kindess. Those two young snow angels are on the right track to grow up and become caring and sharing citizens. Frankly, this world could stand to have a few more people like them.
