Thomas Frisbie is a longtime editor and writer at Chicago Sun-Times. He has been a beat reporter, section editor, columnist, page designer, illustrator, news editor and Nation/World Editor at the Sun-Times.
He joined the Editorial Board in December 2009. Thomas is the co-author of Victims of Justice (Avon, 1998), a book about the DuPage County case in which Rolando Cruz and Alejandro Hernandez were sentenced to death for a 1983 murder only to be freed 10 years later. His expanded and updated edition, Victims of Justice Revisited, was published by Northwestern University Press in 2005. He is a past president of the Society of Midland Authors, a 96-year-old association of Midwestern authors. He has a degree in political science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
