Man fatally stabbed in Old Town

A man died and a female is in custody following a domestic-related stabbing early Wednesday in the North Side Old Town neighborhood, police said.
Officers responded about 1:45 a.m. to the 1400 block of North Sedgwick Street and found a 22-year-old man stabbed in the chest, according to police News Affairs.
Then man – identified as Maurice D. Wilson, 22, of the 1300 block of South Forrestville Avenue – was pronounced dead at 2:21 a.m. at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
A female is in custody in connection with the domestic-related stabbing, police said.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
