Sign work to slow Dan Ryan traffic on Saturday

Dan Ryan Expressway drivers should brace for construction delays and lane closures this Saturday.
Weather permitting, the Illinois Department of Transportation will be replacing and erecting signs that will require:
■ Closure of the northbound Dan Ryan right local lane, from 71st Street to 67th Street, from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.
■ Closure of the entrance ramp from 71st Street to the northbound Dan Ryan, from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.
■ Periodic closures of various exit ramps on the northbound and southbound Ryan, between 31st Street and 87th Street, for up to 10 minutes at a time, between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. Only one ramp will be closed at a time.
