No Metra delays due to ‘pedestrian incident’ with freight train

There are no Metra train delays for the Friday morning commute on the Milwaukee District North Line due to a “pedestrian incident” involving a freight train.

The incident, which happened sometime before 3:45 a.m., involved a Wisconsin Central freight train, Metra spokesman Michael Gillis said. He could not confirm that a person was hit.

No delays have been reported, according to the Metra website.
