Here are people who got one of the 100 pens Gov. Pat Quinn used to sign the same-sex marriage bill. We’ll update as we find out more:

◆ Jim Darby and Patrick Bova: A couple for over 50 years, vet Darby, a retired teacher, and Bova, a retired librarian, lobbied for the bill’s passage.

◆ Laura Ricketts: Co-owner of the Chicago Cubs and openly gay lawyer Ricketts is a major donor to same-sex marriage advocates.

◆ Fred Eychaner: A major Democratic donor, media mogul Eychaner worked with Laura Ricketts to promote the bill’s passage.

◆ State Sen. Heather Steans, D-Chicago: Steans first introduced the Senate bill in January.
