Pfleger: 'God will have the last word not YouTube'
In the Rev. Michael Pfleger's sermon Sunday, titled "Beyond YouTube," the activist Catholic priest had a message for parishioners:
*"If you're not willing to hold judgment until you gather all the information, then you're never going to know the real story. . . . God will have the last word, not YouTube."
*"I apologize for the words that I chose . . . for my dramatization. ... For anyone who was offended and who thought it to be mockery, that was neither my intent nor my heart."
*"Hate me if you will. Hate my imperfect presentation. Hate my imperfect dramatization. Hate my imperfect articulation. I have never presumed to be anything but imperfect, but I pray I can still beat the drum of justice, even if sometimes I am off beat."
*"We have as a country done many great things, but we will never become a great country until justice flows like a river and righteousness like a mighty stream to every human life, no matter race, creed, color or denomination, every human life."
