William Daley to be University of Illinois’ commencement speaker

White House chief of staff Bill Daley has been tapped to be the commencement speaker at the University of Illinois this year. Daley will speak at the May 15 ceremonies at Assembly Hall in Champaign. It will be the 140th U. of I. commencement. Mayor Daley’s brother, the youngest child of Richard J. and Sis Daley, earned his bachelor’s degree from Loyola University and his law degree from John Marshall Law School. AP
