NOT A GENTLE OLDER BROTHER
Those Emanuel boys.
Mayor Rahm Emanuel — one of three accomplished brothers — told a story about growing up during MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Tuesday.
The show was live from Chicago and also featured former White House Chief of Staff Bill Daley and Gov. Pat Quinn.
Rahm is the middle son; Ezekiel, a bioethicist, is the oldest; and Ari, a Hollywood agent, is the youngest. The mayor told about the Emanuels as kids after saying that “without a doubt” Ari was the most difficult as a kid.
“The reason Ari’s the way Ari is, when we grew up we had bunk beds, Zeke and mine, and Ari had a crib right next to the bunk bed. And we literally used to jump into the … crib to watch the baby jump,” he said. Lynn Sweet
