While NATO protesters marched on Daley Plaza Friday, a Chicago Police bomb-sniffing dog alerted its handler to a potential threat inside a car parked in the Loop.
The K9’s sniffer was right on — there were guns and live ammunition inside the vehicle.
But there was noting to worry about. The car — and the weapons — belonged to a federal law enforcement agency, a police source said.
