DREW ON 'LARRY KING LIVE' | 'My children don't have a mommy'

April 12, 2008

Former Bolingbrook cop Drew Peterson said on the "Larry King Live" show Friday night that he's bothered that "my children don't have a mommy" and offered that his missing wife "ran off with another guy and could be dancing somewhere. I don't know."

It was part of an hourlong show Peterson filmed in Los Angeles -- with attorney Joel Brodsky at his side.

Peterson said he's "bothered by the fact that [Stacy Peterson] left. And I'm bothered by the fact that my children don't have a mommy. Yes, sometimes I have trouble sleeping with it."

Peterson also said "my family and friends come forward [on my behalf] all the time, but the news and the media have done their best to keep me sinister," he said.

"Sinister sells better."
