Bomb scare at LAX

March 30, 2008

LOS ANGELES -- Authorities say a portion of Los Angeles International Airport has been evacuated after a message was found saying there was a bomb in the ladies room.

Airport police spokesman Sgt. Jim Holcomb says the area has been checked for explosives and cleared Sunday morning. Police say a passenger apparently went into the men's room at Terminal 2 and saw the message on a wall that said there was a bomb in the ladies room.
