HENDERSON, Nev. — A search is in its fourth day for a southern Nevada teen missing since his mother and younger brother were found stabbed to death in their apartment.
Henderson police spokesman Keith Paul said Monday that 16-year-old Adrian Navarro hasn’t been located since his mother and brother were found dead Friday.
The Clark County coroner says Elvira Canales, 40, and Cesar Navarro, 9, died of stab wounds.
Their bodies were discovered after Canales failed to show up for work as a chef at the Venetian resort since Wednesday, and the younger boy didn’t appear at school.
Police have released no information about suspects or a motive.
The teen’s father also is named Adrian Navarro. He lives in California, and issued a plea in Henderson for his son to contact family members.
