INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Gov. Mike Pence has ordered flags at state facilities across Indiana to be flown at half-staff to honor victims of the explosions at the Boston Marathon.
Pence also asked businesses and residents across Indiana Tuesday to lower their flags to half-staff to honor the Boston victims and their families.
President Barack Obama earlier in the day issued a directive saying flags are to remain at half-staff until sunset on Saturday.
Three people were killed, including an 8-year-old boy, and more than 170 were wounded in Monday’s bombing at the famous marathon’s finish line.
