FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Fort Wayne police say no one was injured when a gun accidentally discharged at a Wal-Mart store after the weapon fell out of a customer’s holster.
Police spokesman Chris Felton tells The Journal Gazette that officers were called to the Fort Wayne store about 5 p.m. Saturday after receiving reports of a shot fired. When officers arrived, witnesses said a customer carrying a handgun had accidentally dropped it, causing it to fire once inside the store.
Felton says no arrests were made.
