Wednesday night’s $202 million Powerball jackpot may have gone to a player in Iowa, but one lucky Illinoisan is nearly $4 million richer after matching all the numbers drawn in another lottery game last night.
The winning numbers in Wednesday night’s Lotto drawing were: 04 - 24 - 26 - 39 - 40 and 44. A winning Quick Pick ticket was sold to someone at the Meijer store at 1301 Meijer Rd. in Rolling Meadows, according to the Illinois Lottery. That player will receive $3,750,000.
Another 18 Lotto players matched five of six numbers and they each will receive $792.
As for the Powerball, the closest anyone in Illinois came to Wednesday night’s $202,100,000 jackpot were the two people who matched four of five numbers and the Powerball, according to the Illinois Lottery. They will each receive $10,000.
