A 27-year-old worker, who took time off to murder his two children and beat his wife and his stay-at-home boarder with a shotgun, confessed to the crime to police. The suspect is John Pitrowski of the 5000 block of North Melvina. His wife, Anna, 23, is in Belmont Hospital with little chance of recovering from the beating she suffered. The boarder, John Panfil, has not been found. The slain children were Betty Anne, 3, and Johnny, 10 months. Betty Anne was beaten to death, and the infant was drowned in a bathtub.
