Amazon offers discount on early orders for Blagojevich's tell-all book

Ex-Gov. Rod Blagojevich's tell-all, The Governor, isn't due out until Sept. 8. But Amazon.com is offering readers $8.48 off the hardcover price for ordering early.

The product description for the 352-page book aims to entice readers with "the most comprehensive look to date at the life of a twice-elected public official in the notoriously complicated world of Illinois politics. ...

Judging by the rest of the description, readers also can expect plenty of digs at Blagojevich's political rivals -- from House Speaker Michael Madigan (D-Chicago) to Gov. Pat Quinn, who replaced Blagojevich.
