Convicted former Gov. Rod Blagojevich now has another name he’ll be known by: federal prisoner No. 40892-424.

Blagojevich, 55, has been ordered to report for prison on March 15 to begin serving his 14-year sentence for corruption, and the U.S. Bureau of Prisons has given him the federal prison identification number 40892-424.

The ID numbers usually are displayed on prisoners’ uniforms and are referred to throughout a prisoner’s time in custody.

Blagojevich was convicted in federal court in Chicago last year of corruption charges. One the charges for which he was convicted accused him of trying to sell or trade the appointment to fill the U.S. Senate seat left open by the election of President Barack Obama.

Blagojevich is to serve his sentence at Federal Correctional Institution Englewood, a low-security prison southwest of Denver.
