Car crashes into South Side elementary school

Nobody was injured when the driver of car crashed into a South Side elementary school Thursday night.

Emergency crews responded to a car into a building at 7736 S. Burnham Ave. about 7 p.m., according to Fire Media Affairs Chief Kevin MacGregor.

The Bradwell Community Arts and Science Elementary School is listed at the address, according to a Yellow Pages directory.

Nobody was injured in the crash, but the building sustained some damage, MacGregor said.

Police remain at the scene investigating the crash Thursday night.
