The teens were standing at the intersection of North Sheridan and West Wilson at 9:36 p.m. when someone inside a dark-colored vehicle fired shots at them, according to police News Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines.
The 17-year-old male was shot in buttocks and taken in good condition to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.
The 15-year-old boy was taken in good condition to Children’s Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg, Gaines said.
