Red Line delayed due to mechanical problems

Service on the Red Line has resumed after it was temporarily disrupted due to mechanical problems Friday morning.
The mechanical problems near 69th Street had been resolved as of about 8 a.m., but there may be some residual delays, the Chicago Transit Authority said.
