Tinley Park massacre 911 tape released

February 18, 2008

In a clear but hushed voice, Lane Bryant manager Rhoda McFarland uttered what may have been among her last words to a 911 operator sometime after a would-be robber entered the store in Tinley Park.

"Hurry," McFarland urged.

Soon, she and four others were shot to death. The gunman remains at large.

Audio from a portion of the 911 call made by McFarland - which was played Saturday on TV's "America's Most Wanted," was released today.
