Porn star Jenna Jameson didn’t show up at two suburban theaters where she had signed a contract to appear, and now a judge in DuPage County has taken a step toward finding her in default in a lawsuit that asked that she be ordered to pay more than $50,000 sought by the owner of Hollywood Palms Cinema in Naperville and the Hollywood Boulevard Cinema In Woodridge.

On Wednesday, after Jameson didn’t show up for a court hearing that theater owner Ted Ec. Bulthaup III requested, DuPage County Judge Patrick Leston withheld entering a default judgment in the breach-of-contract case but said he might do so later this month.

Shortly before Jameson’s scheduled March 24-26 appearances, Bulthaup says, her agent sent him “a vague doctor’s note” saying she had a “medical emergency” and woulddn’t be able to attend the scheduled screenings of her 2008 movie “Zombie Strippers!” Bulthaup says he later learned that “on the very evening she was supposed to be at Hollywood’s theaters, she attended ‘Perez’s Blue Ball,’ ” a birthday party in California for blogger Perez Hilton.
