Police: Missing elderly woman left nursing home with unknown man

Police are searching for an elderly woman who disappeared from a Lincoln Square neighborhood nursing home Friday morning with an unidentified man.
Lidia Constantinesco, 79, went missing about 9 a.m. Friday from Allshore Nursing Home at 2840 W. Foster Ave., where she is a resident, according to a alert from Belmont Area detectives.
Nursing staff members law saw her leaving the facility with a white, 60- to 70-year-old man that she told them was her brother, according to the alert. However, staff members later learned that Constantinesco does not have a brother, the alert said.
She also takes medication for diabetes and may suffer from a form of dementia, the release said.
Constantinesco is described as a 4-foot-9, 129-pound white woman with brown hair, brown eyes and a light complexion, according to the alert.
