Man assaulted girl, posted Facebook pix, police say

A Ford Heights man sexually assaulted a minor, then posted a photo of the two engaging in sex on Facebook, Cook County sheriff’s officials said.
Leroy Stephenson, 24, was arrested after the girl’s mother told investigators about the explicit picture on the social networking website, according to authorities.
Stephenson allegedly signed a statement admitting he took a pornographic photo of the 16-year-old victim on his cell phone and sent it to another person. And at least two others received the explicit photo on their phones before it was posted on several Facebook pages, police said.
For two years, Stephenson pursued the girl, who was apprehensive to date an older man, police said. But by February of last year when the girl was 15, their relationship allegedly became sexual.

Stephenson was ordered held in lieu of $75,000 bail Friday.
He faces aggravated criminal sexual assault and child pornography charges.
