Thieves lift almost $3,700 worth of bras from Victoria’s Secret

A pair of brazen brassiere bandits have struck again.

An unidentified man and woman stole 36 bras, worth $1,771, from a Victoria’s Secret’s display table on Nov. 26 in northwest suburban South Barrington, police said.

The same couple — caught on security cameras — lifted 36 bras valued at $1,919 on Nov. 9.

It’s hardly been an uplifting year for the store. Thieves struck again on Oct. 4, making off with $500 worth of merchandise, according to a police report.

Police also investigated a theft on Sept. 25, when $2,200 worth of merchandise was stolen. Store employees said three women were involved in that incident, according to police reports.
