A 29-year-old man who had been shot multiple times walked into a Lincoln Park neighborhood Walgreens and collapsed Wednesday night.
The man had been shot in the chest, leg and hip before he entered the store in the 1500 block of West Fullerton, Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said. The man was “extremely uncooperative” and would not say where the shooting happened, police said.
Authorities said the man shot is an active gang member and a convicted felon.
He was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Alfaro said.
Area North detectives are investigating, but no one is in custody Wednesday evening.
