6 injured in Tri-State rollover crash

Six people were injured in a rollover crash early Monday on the Tri-State Tollway near Northlake.
The crash happened shortly after midnight when a southbound BMW made an improper lane change on Interstate 294 near mile marker 33 and hit a Ford SUV, causing the SUV to lose control and roll over, Illinois State Police said.
Two adults and three children were in the Ford when it rolled over, state police said. The adults were taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood with serious injuries, while the children were taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge with minor injuries.
The driver of the BMW was taken to Elmhurst Memorial Hospital in Elmhurst with minor injuries, state police said.
No charges were filed as of Monday morning, state police said. The right southbound lane of the Tri-State Tollway was closed as crews investigated the crash.
