Fire strikes South Side grocery store

A fire that erupted in a South Side grocery store early Monday was extinguished, according to Fire Media Affairs.
The still-and-box alarm fire broke out sometime after midnight inside Clyde’s Quality Foods, 2035 E. 79th St., according to the fire department.
The South Shore neighborhood fire was extinguished about 4:50 a.m., the fire department said.
