Three men who robbed a Naperville Radio Shack store led police on a chase from the western suburb to Chicago’s West Side on Monday evening.

The men, armed with a handgun, fled after taking an undetermined amount of merchandise from the store at 1223 E. Ogden Ave. about 6:30 p.m., according to a news release from Naperville Police.

Illinois State Police joined the chase for about a mile, a District Chicago trooper said.

A gray Volvo possibly involved in the robbery was later found at 15th and Kolin, Naperville police said. No one was reported injured.

Naperville police were “actively pursuing suspects” in the case late Monday, according to the release.

State Police said authorities had taken one person into custody as of Monday evening.
